Using Your Reservation at SJC
Follow the signs to the applicable parking facility on your confirmation email. Your QR code/license plate will not allow access to a different parking facility. If you drive to the wrong parking facility, please use the intercom button to speak to a Parking Representative for directions to the correct facility.
Please use the intercom button and advise the Parking Representative you accidentally pulled a ticket. The Representative will assist and provide further direction. Have your confirmation code available so we may look up your reservation.
If you arrive more than 3 hours prior to your reservation start time, ingress will not be permitted. If you depart more than 3 hours after the end time on your reservation, you will incur additional fees at the posted daily rates prior to exiting the parking facility.
For example, if a reservation is from 7am to 7pm, you will be able to exit the facility until 10pm without incurring additional charges.

Your QR code/license plate will only allow entry to the parking facility listed on the reservation. Please confirm that you are at the correct parking lot and the dates/times are correct.
Your reservation may only be used for one entry and exit from the parking facility. Once you have exited the parking facility, your reservation will be treated as complete. If you try to re-enter the parking facility with the same reservation, it will not work. To reenter the parking facility, pull a ticket to start a new transaction. The posted parking rates will then apply.
You may freely exit the parking facility. A partial refund may be issued upon request.
You can use any available lane to enter the parking facility. If the License Plate Recognition system doesn't automatically open the gate for you, use your QR code at the reader.
Managing Your Reservation
Reservations can be modified up until 4 hours prior to the start of your reservation. It is not possible to pre-pay to extend a booking after that time. Once inside the parking facility, any overstays past the end of your reservation will be charged at the rate posted at the entrance. Payment of overstay charges is required prior to exiting.
Visit parking.flysanjose.com and select ‘Manage my Reservation’. Your confirmation code is required to access your reservation. Reservations can be modified up until 4 hours prior to the start of your reservation.

You may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund up to 4 hours before the start of your reservation. Log on to parking.flysanjose.com and select ‘Manage my Reservation’. Requests to cancel an unused reservation beyond the amendment period should be made through our online form, and if approved, are subject to a 1-day fee (amount dependent on which parking product was reserved). Discounted reservations will be refunded up to the amount actually paid.
Making a Reservation
Sufficient space is kept free in the parking facility for the day of your arrival. In the unlikely event your selected parking facility is full upon arrival, a refund will be provided. Please submit a refund request via the Airport's parking reservations email: ParkingSJC@SJC.org.
Reservations can be made up until the day before your intended arrival. Same-day reservations are not available.
Reservations made for less than 24 hours will be charged the full daily rate for that parking facility. It is recommended to reserve at least a full 24-hour period of time (i.e. 12:00 PM to 12:00 PM).
Making a reservation does not guarantee a specific parking space. Accessible Parking and van-accessible spaces can be found in all Airport parking facilities and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. EV charging units are available in Hourly Lot 2 and Hourly & Daily Lot 5.
Visit parking.flysanjose.com, enter your intended dates and times of travel, and choose a parking facility that best suits your needs. At checkout, you’ll be prompted to enter your name, address, phone number, email, and license plate number.
You can book a reservation up to 6 months (180 days) ahead of time.

There is a 30-day limit. If you require parking for more than 30 days, please contact Airport Parking Services at 408-441-5579 or email ParkingSJC@sjc.org. If a vehicle remains in the parking facility for more than 30 days without notification to Airport Parking Services, the vehicle can be considered abandoned and towed at the owner’s expense.
There is no minimum amount of time required to make a reservation, but reservations are charged in increments of 24 hours.
You will be charged at the time you complete the online reservation process.

General Parking
Complimentary shuttles to Terminals A and B are available 24/7 at Economy Lot 1 and Daily Lot 4. Shuttles arrive every 7-10 minutes.
Parking lots are patrolled by Airport Operations, San José Police Department, and contract security personnel. Any emergencies in the parking lots can be reported by calling 911 or using the callboxes and courtesy telephones inside most parking lots and garages, including at all shuttle bus stops.
The Airport recommends verifying that your vehicle is locked, and valuables are kept hidden once you park.
Charging stations are available in Hourly Lot 2 and Hourly & Daily Lot 5 on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no additional fee to use them.
Yes. Economy Lot 1 (surface portion only) can usually accommodate larger vehicles. Oversized vehicle owners should contact Airport Parking Services (408-441-5579 or ParkingSJC@sjc.org) in advance to ensure there is sufficient space. Oversized vehicles should enter the lot using the two right-hand lanes (next to the Bus-only entrance) and avoid entering the parking garage. Vehicles will be charged accordingly based on the number of occupied parking spaces. Vehicles must not block shuttle bus stops or drive lanes; Parked vehicles found blocking traffic or critical infrastructure may be towed at the owner's expense.

Pay stations are located in all parking facilities. Most pay stations accept cash, credit cards, and contactless payments. Some pay stations only accept credit cards/contactless. Customers using credit cards or contactless may pay at the exit gate and do not need to visit a pay station. See our Paying for Parking page for additional information.

Accessible parking spaces can be found in all SJC parking facilities. Accessible spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Accessible parking is priced based on the parking lot it's in. There are no discounts for accessible parking. Visit our Accessible Parking page for additional information.

Please note that specific stalls are designated with a maximum limit of 1-hour.
No. Use of Airport parking facilities is limited to temporary parking of registered motor vehicles only. Storage of separate trailers (unattached to motor vehicles), container units, or other belongings not secured inside of or to a motor vehicle is strictly prohibited. Items found left behind in any parking lot are subject to removal and disposal.
Parking fees in all lots other than the Economy Lot are charged based on the time of entry at $2 per 15 minutes for the first day and at a flat rate per 24-hour period (day) thereafter. As soon as the next day begins (based on the time of entry), the next full day's fees will accrue.
For instance, if you park in the lot at 9:00:00 a.m. on Friday, at 9:00:01 a.m. on Saturday, an additional day would be charged.
Hourly and daily rates vary by lot:
- Economy Lot 1: $18/day
- Hourly Lot 2 (Terminal A Garage): $2/15 minutes & $24/day
- Hourly Lot 3 (Terminal B Garage): $2/15 minutes & $40/day
- Daily Lot 4: $2/15 minutes & $30/day
- Hourly & Daily Lot 5: $2/15 minutes & $30/day
There are no discounts for accessible (ADA) parking. Save time and reserve parking in advance.
