San José Mineta International Airport Opens New Cell Phone Waiting Area
San José, Calif. – Tomorrow, January 30, San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) will open a new Cell Phone Waiting Area at 2470 Airport Boulevard—the northeast corner of the Airport. The new, larger space will streamline passenger pick-up and provide an easier experience for arriving passengers and their drivers.
The Airport Parkway Cell Phone Waiting Area (located east of the 87 overpass along Airport Parkway between 87 and Technology Drive), will remain open as usual. Signage will be in place to direct Airport motorists to the new Cell Phone Waiting Area location.
With 75 parking spaces, and improved lighting, the new location is approximately a three-minute drive to the Terminal A arrivals curb and a four-minute drive to the Terminal B arrivals curb, providing further convenience and ease.
