In June, the Southwest Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives (SWAAAE) featured SJC and our Deputy Director of Airport Operations, Rosalyn Bond, on their website.
SWAAAE's mission is to advance excellence in airport management through communication, professional development and advocacy while serving members through partnership, mentorship and innovation.
Rosalyn has been part of the SJC Family for more than 23 years, serving in various roles across Airside and Landside Operations and in the Facilities and Engineering Division.
In 2022, the City of San José Aviation Department named Rosalyn as Airport Operations Deputy Director. She oversees and manages Airside, Landside, Terminal and Security Operations, as well as Customer Experience. And the fact that she does a wonderful job was acknowledged by our passengers, who chose SJC as winner of an ACI Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award for providing the best customer experience in North America among airports serving 15 to 25 million passengers.
Rosalyn earned an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation from San José State University. She is an Accredited Member (A.A.E.) of the American Association of Airport Executives, a member of the Board of Examiners for AAAE and a member of the Board of Directors of SWAAAE. Rosalyn joined SWAAAE in 2007 to network and share experiences with other aviation professionals. She also has a private pilot’s certificate and loves to travel.
“SJC is an amazing place for our passengers and employees, and I'm happy I'm able to contribute to its success,” Rosalyn said.
