Happy National Aviation Day! In addition to the Scavenger Hunt, we’re launching a Planespotter Picture Sweepstakes to celebrate the avgeeks! We’ll be selecting three lucky winners to receive an SJC prize pack with airport swag.
Here’s how to enter:
- Post your favorite plane photo you’ve captured at SJC to Instagram. (This must be a feed post, not a story.)
- In your post, use the hashtags #SJCPlanespotterPictureSweepstakes and #SpottedAtSJC.
- Make sure your post is up before 9 a.m. PT on Sept. 10, and make sure it’s public – we can’t see if you entered if the post is private!
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Up to one entry per person. Open to U.S. residents only. No purchase necessary to win. Entrants must be 18 years or older. The SJC Planespotter Picture Sweepstakes is subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations and void where prohibited by law. City of San José employees, its subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, partners, advertising and promotion agencies, and directors (collectively the “Employees”), as well as members of an Employees' immediate family and/or those living in the same household of Employees are ineligible to participate in the SJC Planespotter Picture Sweepstakes. The entry period will close on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. PT. Three [3] winners will be selected and contacted by email within 10 days. The selected winners will have 48 hours to respond to SJC to claim their prize. If a winner fails to respond within the 48-hour window, that winner will forfeit the prize and a new winner will be selected. Instagram is not a sponsor of this sweepstakes.
Entrants acknowledge and agree that the Airport shall have the right to use the images and names of the Winners for promotional purposes, including, but not limited to, posting on social media and sharing on the Airport website.
